Is marketing simple?

Marketing is said to be divided into eight sections for learning, but a glance at the table of contents reveals that the areas involved are far too broad. For marketing, I have been seeking solutions for many years, but I still know less and do less, basically the theory is the head, action can not keep up. "I hate it when the book is used," I sigh whenever a problem arises. But when I picked up a book again, it can be "solved," and it is self-pity, because I do not know the true face of the Fang GUmountain, only that I am in this mountain.

When I read this book, I was drawn in again by the word "minimalist," but I also realized that shortcuts on the road to learning often led to me taking more roads.

Consider the following eight sections: market insights, customer segmentation and target customer selection, positioning, branding, the 4Ps of the marketing mix, quantitative metrics and results tracking, team structure and assessment metrics, and growth hacking.

Just from these contents, it is already called a summary of knowledge, any one of which can be taken out to write a few books, each read a book feel, the book is good, the meaning can also understand, but how can these knowledge used in business, or used in the work is a problem, although each book will list a lot of classic cases, there are cases that can also make our blood boil, applause, but on reflection, these cases are those authors who are classically det

Let us begin with the first item: market knowledge.

First and foremost, market insight is critical for business. Consider the mall and the battlefield, the battlefield to destroy the enemy to hit the right, the mall is only so, your product is your weapon, the target customer is your target, if there is no market insight can also fight, is not hit, throw money to throw some quickly, die some quickly.

The method of market insight is actually not as difficult as imagined; as long as the author provides two types of classification and five types of models to analyze it, the final result is a 2 5 result.

There are two types of classification: we want to conduct market insight data, and many people will be confused about where to find those so-called industry data or market data. This is also the first stumbling block in gaining market insight; the two classifications proposed here are primary data and secondary data. Primary data refers to information obtained after a company has the ability to conduct its own market research, using methods such as interviews, inquiries, questionnaires, tests, and so on. Second-hand data refers to those who have been other industry experts, and the platform has sorted out the data, which is simply their own online picking away.
